Enable transaction alerts so Daily Benji can track your spending
Using the Capital One Mobile App (Recommended)
Log in to the Capital One Mobile app.
Tap on your profile icon.
Navigate to the "Alerts & Notifications" section.
Select the credit card account for which you want to set up alerts.
Look for an option like "Instant Purchase Notification".
Set the threshold to $0 to be alerted for all transactions.
Choose your preferred method of receiving these alerts to be Email.
Save your new settings.
Repeat for all cards: If you have multiple Capital One
cards, you must repeat these steps for each one.
Using the Capital One Website
Sign in to your account on the Capital One website.
Find the "Alerts" or "Account Settings" section.
Choose the credit or debit card account you want to manage.
Within Account Alerts, navigate to the relevant section for purchase notifications:
For Credit Cards: Look for the "Security and Fraud" section.
For Debit Cards: Look for the "Spending and Transactions" section.
Find the option for purchase notifications (e.g., "Instant Purchase Notification" or "Debit card transaction above $").
Set the amount to $0.00 to capture all transactions.
Ensure Email is selected as your preferred delivery method.
Save your changes.
Repeat for all cards: If you have multiple Capital One
cards (credit or debit), you must repeat these steps for each one.
Important: Email is Required
For Daily Benji to work, you must select Email as
the delivery method for your transaction alerts.
